Canadian Housing Market Cools

The Canadian housing market cools as housing sales have dropped to new lows. Even decreasing interest rates and larges selections of housing are not enough to attract new buyers into the market. Mortgage rates are likely to stay low and unaffected by the Bank of Canada’s recent increase of the lending rate, because of the high level of competition between banks to draw new business.
