I didn't expect to refinance my mortgage through Ratehub. I was all set to figure something out via my existing lender, but they were taking too long to get back to me. As my renewal date was coming up, I wanted to see if i could get a better arrangement. I even set the expectation that I was just fishing for rates. But Mitul (our Mortgage Agent,) was able to win me over, not just with a better rate, but with his responsiveness, and explanation of why a mortgage with TD would improve on that with my credit union. And then once I mentioned I had engaged with them, my credit union just gave up.
