My wife had a phone consultation with Madison Durbin mid July to discuss our mortgage renewal options, as our short term ported mortgage is coming due in October. Madison was eager to get the ball rolling and we provided all of our confidential and personal information right away. However after requesting an appraisal, the conversation quickly dropped off and she has left us unattended without any plan of action to move forward. She has not returned my calls, answered our emails, or even touched base on her own accord. Since the last time we emailed her was August 26th, the only thing we are left to believe is that she is lazy and didn't want to put in the effort required. Highly dissatisfied. Madison got me going right away upon 1st contact, got me into a mortgage satisfying the criteria I was looking for (eg. readvanceable, lower rate than my current one, advantaging with incentive offers to help balance out the costs), and never dropped the ball with getting back to me very quicky, sometimes several times a day on critical issues to push forward the process when it hit snags and major delays. She expertly facilitated my refinancing application with a major bank, helping me manage the distress that arose from those delays that resulted in part from a busy time in the renewal cycle for Canadian lenders/clients, and in part from a slightly challenging application. She worked very hard for the four months it took to process my mortgage to ensure the final result was as we had hoped and she humbly reached out to Ratehub management near the end when I asked about potential compensation for the impact of delays on me financially, emotionally, temporally and from a stress standpoint, which they granted and which I thought was an appropriate and respectful remedy, for which I am thankful.
