Brittany was a great help retrieving competitive rates for me the past 9 months or so as my mortgage at a bank was coming due for renewal. Loved the informative interactions provided that focused solely on what they could do an provide and the “space” given to digest the information and make a decision. I had found my interactions with the bank’s broker to be kind of opposite of this. In the end I saved probably 1+ % through their services vs the best the bank could do for me. At the beginning, I was scared to buy a newly build house on my own, for having very little knowledge about the entire process. I had no knowledge about dealing with mortgage broker either. I saw CanWise (now Ratehub) mortgage calculation at the top of every house for sale posting I looked at. I got curious and started asking them questions. Little did I know it was the beginning of our business dealings and then we turned out to become friends. Britney helped me first before she went on mat leave and then Brittany took over. All the questions I had been answered politely. They are both knowledgeable and compassionate. They are very helpful and went beyond my expectations. Hey if you need a really good rate, I don't think there is a better broker out there that can beat Canwise. Their service was so exceptional and good that my only regret is that we didn't use them before. The mortgage agent that I dealt with was Brittany, ask for her when you are dealing with them. She is so professional in her duties and always respond to your queries while walking me through the entire process. After submitting all the documents and getting an approval for my loan, I even got a refund for fees that they said would be covered no questions asked!! STAY AWAY FROM BRITTANY NEADOW!!!! OR THIS COMPANY PERIOD I have the worst lifetime experience for a mortgage lender. I started communication on Nov.2, 2021 for a loan with Brittany, to find out 7 weeks later that I was refused. she was asking for documents every second day and duplicating requests. Not prepared nor has a clue how to activate an account by having all the documents demands listed on a sheet. Called her numerous time just to be able to leave a message and never received a call or email. her customer service skills is none existant. I don't know how long she has been working there but if I was the HR of that branch she would be gone in a flash. I had the 20% down plus co-signers that has double the amount of the purchase in collaterals.she came up with excuses and demands like one time extra fees to pay the lender $4k. Never heard of such of rip off demand. She then requested 40% down! who comes up with crazy demands like that. I haven't been treated so POORLY in my life. We only had 4 days left to go with someone else. it took them 24 hours and we were accepted and signing documents at the lawyer 3 days later. STAY AWAY - Mona Pinette

The process of switching mortgages was straight forward (although cumbersome with all of the paperwork) and CanWise Financial was easy to work with and had the best rates around. CanWise Financial is able to offer me a good rate with efficiency. Brittany helps me with patience and she is super professional. In my case, I need to transfer from my previous bank to CanWise. I was originally worried that the transition process would be long and unmanageable. However, they are very organized and helps everything go smoothly. Due to COVID, I had a virtual document signing meeting with their staff. Absolutely love it! They will mail the package to your home and send someone to pick up your signed documents from your home.
