Compare Chase Credit Cards

If you’re a loyal shopper or frequent traveller, Chase offers some great store credit cards and travel rewards credit cards. How will you know which card to apply for? Think of any purchases you plan to make, or trips you want to go on, in the next couple of years. Got those in mind? Now compare your answers to the list below.

Some credit cards come with an annual fee and some do not. The general rule for this is that the greater the rewards, the larger the annual fee. The annual fee is charged once per year and is added to your credit card statement. If you don't mind paying an annual fee, select I don't mind. If you'd prefer not to pay to use a credit card, select None. Some rewards credit cards have an annual income requirement. Enter either your personal or household annual income here, as it may affect which credit cards you are able to apply for.

What type of rewards do you want to earn for every dollar you spend? Is cash back important to you? Would you prefer gift cards or store credit? What about free flights and hotels? Think about what's most important to you and what would help your budget the most, then look for the best cards to offer that reward. Do you have a preference of whether you want a Visa, MasterCard or American Express card? Select which network you'd prefer, or select "All" if you don't have a preference.
There are a number of lenders and companies that issue credit cards - and they aren't just financial institutions. If you would prefer to get a credit card from one specific credit card issuer, choose the one you want. Otherwise, select All banks. There are generally three types of people who use credit cards: individuals, students and businesses. If you are an individual who uses their credit card for daily living expenses, select Personal. If you are in school and on living on a tight budget, select Student. And if you are someone who uses a credit card to pay for business expenses, select Business. There are many different credit card reward programs available. If you have a preferred reward program, such as Aeroplan Miles, select your choice using the dropdown. Note that each card only uses one reward program. Enter the dollar amount you spend each month on your credit card. Edit your monthly spend by each spending category in the 'monthly spending by category' tab below.

Chase credit card overview

Chase offers 6 credit cards in Canada that come with everything from travel rewards for your next dream trip, financing options for that must-have item, and loyalty rewards from popular stores.

If you are a frequent traveller and prefer to stay at Marriott’s around the world, Chase offers the Marriott Rewards Premier Visa Card. The card lets you earn free hotel stays, by collecting points when you use your card to pay for hotel bookings, car rentals, restaurants and some other day-to-day purchases.

If you like earning rewards points for your favourite store, Chase offers the Sears Card and the Sears Financial MasterCard. These store credit cards offer 1-2 reward points per $1 spent with your card at Sears, and 1 point for every $1 spent anywhere else, which you can redeem for free purchases. Chase also offers the Amazon.ca Rewards Visa Card, which comes with a free $20 Amazon.ca gift card and lets you earn cash back, which is applied as a credit on your statement.

Want to make a big purchase, like a flat screen TV, laptop or kitchen appliance? Chase offers two cards to help make financing your next big purchase easier. The Best Buy Card and the Future Shop Card are no-fee credit cards that have low or no interest rates on your purchase for the first 6-12 months. These cards are ideal if you know you can pay off the full balance before the introductory period ends, to avoid interest fees and accumulating debt.
